Q: How far in advance should I start shopping for my wedding dress?
A: We recommend starting to shop about 12-15 months out from your wedding. This will allow you ample time to make a decision!
Q. How far in advance should I order my wedding dress?
A: We recommend ordering your bridal gown at least nine to twelve months prior to your wedding date. Most of our designers take 3-6 months in production. Brides should allot 2-3 months for gown alterations to be completed. This timing gives a bride ample time to select any accessories she may want, as well as bridesmaids dresses for her bridal party. The bridal gown can set the tone for may other aspects of the wedding, and selecting a gown early in the planning process ensures a seamless aesthetic.
Q: What is the price range of your dresses?
A: The majority of our wedding dresses fall between $1500 & $3500. We have a small selection of styles by Jenny Yoo & Stella York in the $1,000-$1500 range. Our couture designers range in price from $2500-$6,500, and are mostly customizable.
Q: What sizes are your wedding dresses available in?
A: Our samples available to try on in-store are available in bridal sizes 8-30 (street size 4-24), We are able to order any bridal gown in bridal sizes 2-24, and several styles in 26-34. In general we usually just have one dress in each sample, though sometimes we will have a dress in both plus and straight sizes.
Q: What are your payment policies?
A: A bridal gown order requires a 60% deposit to order which is non-refundable. The remaining 40% balance is due within 60 days of arrival in our shop.
Q: What do I do about alterations?
A: We do not have a seamstress on staff, but have a list of several talented seamstresses locally that many of our brides choose to use. We are happy to store your wedding dress, free of charge, until you are ready to begin alterations. If you work with one of the local seamstresses, they will arrange for dress pick-up.
